PB chocolate rice krispies

 

these can still be called rice krispies even if they don't have marshmallows in them...right? 

this is going to be a go-to recipe this summer, because they're no bake, but yes to yummy-ness. and you only need 5 ingredients, with no added sugars. #health. and #convenience.

ingredients
3 cups rice krispies
.5 cup PB
1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup if you prefer)
1 cup chocolate chips
2 tbsp coconut oil

instructions

  1. melt the PB and honey (or maple syrup) in the microwave, 30 secs at a time.
  2. pour and mix with the rice krispies.
  3. press into a lined 8x8 dish (you can use a larger dish, but keep in mind that they will be thinner pieces).
  4. melt chocolate and coconut oil in the microwave, 30 secs at a time.
  5. drizzle over the krispies mixture and refrigerate for a few hours, ideally overnight.
  6. cut + enjoy 😊
look at that cross section...the texture is also a-ma-zing, and taste best when chilled straight from the fridge!
